His Name is Cetewayo kaMpande

Want to know about a guy who was as tough a warrior as the great Samson and King David?

His name is Cetewayo kaMpande.

Cetewayo was the king of Zululand South Africa from 1872 to 1879. From the images of him, he looks like an ordinary black man today.

He is famous for his massacre of an entire British army sent to take him down. It didn’t happen for them.

Days later he killed and defeated the prince Napoleon, who was heir to the French throne. The king of Zululand taught the Europeans a thing about warfare.

John VI of Portugal Starts Brazil

Mixed brother used to be called mulattos and that is exactly what King John VI of Portugal was.

He ruled during the late 1700s and in 1808 this guy desired to see what life was like in Brazil, which has recently been “discovered” and cultivated.

John VI moved his throne to Rio de Janeiro in 1808 and ruled Portugal from Brazil. This is one of the first and rare times a European country was governed by a “new world” American one.

Many people do not hear much of black rulership in Africa or around the world because in the west it can be a bit of a threat.

It can and does give confidence to blacks who once upon a time thought themselves only to be slaves.

However, allow me to introduce you to Muhammad Ture/Toure, who became more known as Askia Muhammad. He was known as a great Emperor of Songhai and his empire stretched from Lake Chad all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

His rulership was said to be more expansive than Western Europe. His capital was Timbuctoo, where he formed many libraries, universities, and educational systems.

Upper Senegal King Saves Moorish Life in Spain

There was once a King named Yusuf who lived during the time period of 1080s. He was King of Upper Senegal and he was most known for saving the Moorish civilization in Spain in 1086.

History states that the Moors were being pushed out of Spain by the white Christians of Germanic descent. This is when Yusuf crossed the Strait of Gibraltar with only 15,000 jet black men and another 10,000 from the Moors.

They banded together and met the white king, Alphonso VI at Zalacca who had an army of 70,000. King Yusuf didn’t flench at the army that was nearly three times the size of his, he just went to work on them.

The flower of white knighthood was destroyed; Yusuf inflicted a terrific defeat upon them. One of the key figures who fell in that battle to the military prowess of Yusuf was one people called “The Cid”, the greatest figure of the heroic age of Spain.
